Job summary

Stonebrook Dental Care in Nevada is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You’ll greet patients, assist clinicians, take radiographs, and keep the operatory ready while following safety and HIPAA guidelines.

In this role you’ll use Dentrix for scheduling and records, maintain inventory, and coordinate with Heartland Dental’s network to support patient care. 1+ year chairside experience and X-ray certification preferred; a positive, reliable attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year chairside dental assisting experience in a general dentistry setting.
• Dentrix or other dental software experience is required.
• Reliable and hardworking with strong organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment is preferred.
• If required by state law, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (e.g., iTero 3D scans).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with proper safety protocols (OSHA/CDC).
• Manage supplies and place orders, maintain inventory.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize workflow.
