Dental Care at Preston Legacy, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. This role supports physicians with chairside care, manages patient records, and ensures a safe, efficient office environment.

You will work with Dentrix for scheduling and data management and must comply with OSHA and HIPAA standards. Ideal candidates have a solid understanding of dental terminology, can thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere, and hold current dental assisting and X-ray

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• State-required dental assistant and/or x-ray certifications as applicable.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI data safeguards compliance.

Responsabilités

• Greet and educate patients throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during a variety of procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records management.
• Prepare treatment rooms following OSHA & CDC safety guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and improve office workflow.
