Job summary

Sumter Dental Care in North Port, FL is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join a busy, multi-provider office. You will greet patients, take X-rays, and provide chairside support with four-handed dentistry while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of dental assisting experience, X-ray certification, and Dentrix proficiency. Florida EFDA certification is preferred. Work Tue-Fri from 6:45 am to 4:00 pm; a $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures following safety protocols.
• Maintain patient records using Dentrix and manage scheduling.
• Support inventory and supply ordering to keep the office running smoothly.
