Job summary

Sonrava Health in California is hiring a Dental Assistant dedicated to patient care, supporting the doctor with precision and maintaining an exceptional chair-side manner. The role emphasizes accurate radiographs, sterilization, patient education, and a smooth patient flow to ensure a positive experience in every visit.

You will collaborate with dental teams, schedule follow-ups, monitor supplies, and help promote Sonrava’s services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner, prioritizing the patient.
• Be present, engaged and ready to work at all assigned shift times.
• Take direction from the doctor and/or hygienist(s), assist with procedures, and anticipate needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs with accuracy.
• Review patient charts, log data and health history during exams and treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory per procedures.
• Educate patients and address questions/concerns.
• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver an extraordinary patient experience.
• Assist front office with scheduling follow-ups and tracking lab cases.
• Monitor supplies and order as directed; promote Sonrava services and products.
• Complete required checklists and participate in daily huddles.
