Position Overview

As a Dental Assistant, you are an essential part of the care team, supporting the office and assisting dental staff with treatments. Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist during procedures.
• Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Ensure infection control, maintain confidentiality, and follow safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling and intake as needed.
• Assist in managing dental and medical emergencies, maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience with supporting documentation
• X-Ray certification
• Nitrous Oxide certification (highly recommended)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required.
