Neibauer Dental Care in South Riding is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team.

As a Dental Assistant, you will work with state-of-the-art technology in a supportive environment where patient care is our priority and continuous learning is encouraged. The ideal candidate is hardworking, motivated, and passionate about providing excellent patient care.

More About The Role

1. Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
2. Review patient health histories to ensure quality care.
3. Take and process X-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
4. Provide chairside assistance during procedures in accordance with state dental practice laws.
5. Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
6. Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
7. Manage supplies and inventory, and place orders as needed.
8. Collaborate with team members to implement systems and improve workflow.

Minimum Qualifications

1. At least 2 years of experience in a dental setting.
2. Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
3. Experience in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.
4. VA X-ray certification.
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
6. Understanding of HIPAA and data protection standards.

Preferred Experience

1. More than 3 years of dental experience.
2. Experience with Dentrix or similar software.
3. Certification from a dental assisting school.

Physical Requirements

1. Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
2. Prolonged sitting and standing.
3. Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
4. Availability for periodic training sessions.
5. TB test completion prior to employment, except in FL & TN.
