Imagen Dental Partners in Poplar Grove, IL is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our privately owned practice. You will welcome patients, prepare treatment rooms, and assist the doctor to deliver high-quality care.

This role offers a 4-day schedule with no weekends, competitive pay $19-23 per hour, 401(k) match, PTO, and comprehensive coverage. Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Radiology Certification, CPR, RDA or RDAEF as required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of technologies and clinical initiatives impacting back-office.
• Monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms.
• Take, expose, and mount dental radiographs.
• Contribute to team to achieve business goals.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and team.

Schedule: You will be thrilled to know that we work 4 days per week, and NO WEEKENDS! Monday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Tuesday: 7:30 am - 5:00pm Wednesday: 7:30 am - 5:00pm Thursday: 7:30 am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
