Job summary

Imagen Dental Partners in Nashville, TN is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant for a full-time role with Monday–Friday hours, no weekends, Fridays until 1pm. The package starts at $21-$26/hr, plus benefits, 401(k), PTO, and insurance options for you and your family.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, assisting the doctor, preparing treatment rooms, taking radiographs, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining a safe, compliant office environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant.
• High school diploma or GED.
• State-required certifications such as Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF).
• EFDA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Schedule

You will be thrilled to know that we work full time hours, NO WEEKENDS and Fridays only until 1pm!

• Monday 7:30am - 5:30pm
• Tuesday 7:30am - 5:30pm
• Wednesday 7:30am - 5:30pm
• Thursday 7:30am-5:30 pm
• Friday 7:30am - 1:00pm

Responsibilities

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assista
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• EFDA Certified
