Job summary

Imagen Dental Partners in Destin, FL is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join a privately owned practice committed to putting patients first. You will welcome patients, assist the doctor, and help maintain a smooth, efficient chairside operation.

The right candidate has at least 1 year of dental experience, knowledge of terminology, and a willingness to learn new technologies. Benefits include PTO, holidays, 401K with match, and comprehensive health plans for you and your family.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and general chairside experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Certifications such as Radiology, CPR or RDA/RDAEF are common.
• Experience with Denticon or other dental software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Ability to perform digital xrays
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

General Overview

Schedule

• Monday- 7:45 am - 5:00 pm


• Tuesday- 7:45 am - 5:00 pm


• Wednesday- 7:45 am - 5:00 pm


• Thursday - 6:45am - 3:00 pm


• Friday - 8:00 am- 1:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Experience with Dental Softwares as Denticon, is preferred.
