Job summary

Imagen Dental Partners in Decatur, GA is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to welcome patients, assist the doctor, and keep the back-office running smoothly. You will manage radiographs, sterilization, and equipment prep while upholding OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.

This privately owned practice offers a compensation package starting at $23-25 per hour, plus a 401(k) plan with match, PTO/holidays, and comprehensive medical, vision, life, and disability coverage for you and your family.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
• High school diploma or GED.
• State-required certifications such as Radiology Certification, CPR, RDA or RDAEF.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Dentrix or Eaglesoft is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

General Overview

Schedule:

Monday and Friday: 9:45am-6:00pm

Tuesday and Thursday: 8:45am-5:00pm

*2nd and 3rd Saturday of month, 8:30am-2:30pm

• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
