Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team at Taylor Correctional Institution in Perry, Florida. The assistant works under the Dentist/Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry within a correctional setting.

Essential duties include instrument sterilization, operatory maintenance, radiographic imaging, and related administrative tasks. Compliance with licensure and certification timelines is required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or 12 months of experience as a Dental Assistant required.
• Certified Dental Assistant license and/or Expanded Dental Assistant Certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Florida Radiograph Certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments.
• Prepare and maintain the dental operatory.
• Operate radiographic equipment.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed.
