Centurion Health in Raiford, FL seeks a full-time Dental Assistant for Florida State Prison. You will assist the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside care in a correctional setting, and help prepare and sterilize instruments and the operatory.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a dental assisting program (or 12 months of experience), and CDA/Expanded Duty certification or ability to obtain within 6 months, plus Florida radiograph certification or ability to

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting technical program or 12 months of experience.
• CDA/Expanded Duty certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Florida Radiograph Certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• PPD documentation preferred or willingness to obtain.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to pass security clearance and background check.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of dental services to the Florida Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team at Florida State Prison located in Raiford, Florida.The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision, assisting the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.
