Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant for the South Florida Reception Center – Main Unit in Doral, FL. The role supports dentists and dental hygienists in a correctional setting, handling instrument prep, sterilization, chairside assisting, radiography, and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, a dental assisting program or six months of experience, a valid dental assistant license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a dental assisting program or at least 6 months of dental assisting experience.
• Dental Assistant license required.
• CPR certification required.
• TB screening (PPD) documentation required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments.
• Assist dentists in chairside dentistry.
• Operate radiographic equipment.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed.
