About the Position

Brien Family Dentistry is seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant in Baton Rouge, LA. We value experienced professionals to join our collaborative team of clinical, business, and operational experts.

Schedule

• Monday and Tuesday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Wednesday and Thursday: 6:30 am - 3:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists chairside
• Welcome and prepare patients for treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Provide post-operative instructions
• Ensure operatories are clean and stocked
• Perform lab tasks as instructed
• Take diagnostic X-rays
• Handle small tools efficiently and assist during procedures
• Follow all OSHA protocols

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant certification or training
• At least 2 years of clinical experience
• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and digital software
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassion and patience with patients
• Organized, proactive, and a team player
• Good manual dexterity
