Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a Dental Assistant in Antioch, CA to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; and performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act. The role includes taking x-rays, IOs, and assisting with prophylaxis cleaning of teeth while educating patients on oral hygiene.

• Certification from a dental college or 3–6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent education/experience.

Dental Assistant

Summary: The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range: $19 to $24.76/hr (Based on experience)

• Assists the doctor in procedures

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred

Required Certificates or Licences:

• X-Ray certification
• BLS certification

• 8-hour Infection Control certification
• 2-hour Dental Practice Act certification
