Overview Of Position

This position, with guidance from the General Manager, is responsible for supporting all elements of day-to-day operations, including increasing sales, meeting profit objectives, executing new programs, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Other duties may be assigned.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

• Support the development of restaurant operating plans in conjunction with the General Manager to achieve business growth (sales and profit) and guest satisfaction.
• Work closely with the General Manager on scheduling, staffing needs, and employee development and training.
• Exercise discretion in addressing changing business demands.
• Ensure all menu items are prepared and served according to Brand Standards.
• Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels for food and non-food items, using correct ordering procedures and efficient usage.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through proper service in a clean and pleasant environment, making operational adjustments as needed to meet standards.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and food safety standards through preventive maintenance and other practices.
• Promote and embody company values and policies, emphasizing safety.
• Assist in controlling expenses, focusing on labor, cash, repairs & maintenance, and food costs, and support financial reporting and improvement plans.
• Stay informed about local market trends and competition, and assist in implementing local marketing programs.
• Create a positive work environment with open communication, addressing employee relations issues appropriately.
• Manage conflicts constructively and demonstrate strong leadership with flexibility.

Hospitality & Guest Service Skills
