Job summary

Veit Management, Inc. seeks an Estimator II to develop accurate, competitive demolition project estimates from plan review through final bid submission.

You will review plans, perform site visits, and execute earthwork takeoffs using AGTEK and HeavyBid, gathering subcontractor pricing and preparing comprehensive bids. You will collaborate with Project Managers and field teams, ensure DBE/MBE considerations in vendor invites, and drive the bid from inception to submission while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or 3–5 years bidding/estimating experience.
• Proficiency with Construction Bidding and Project Management software.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review plans/specs to determine project scope and estimating requirements.
• Perform earthwork takeoffs and material quantity calculations.
• Solicit subcontractor quotes and build the bid with crews/equipment and production rates.
• Prepare bid proposals and submit to owners/GCs within deadlines.
• Support project execution after winning the job with PMs and field operations.
