The role emphasizes compassion, communication, and adherence to policy. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 3–6 months related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; 3–6 months direct care experience preferred.
• Experience with dementia care and compassionate resident interaction is beneficial.
• Clear communication and ability to follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide dementia care including ADLs and meaningful engagement per individual care plans.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and monitor health status.
• Maintain accurate documentation and report changes to supervisors.
• Support a respectful, safe, and engaging community environment.
