Job summary

Sdc-Technologies-In is seeking a Production Planner to research, analyze, and maintain analytics to optimize inventory forecasts and production schedules in California. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to align demand with capacity, safety stock, and raw-material needs while meeting customer ship dates.

You will lead S&OP activities, monitor forecast accuracy, and drive data-driven improvements across the planning process in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in demand planning or production planning.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools to support forecasting and analytics.
• APICS certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and determine production requirements from forecasts and orders.
• Build and maintain rolling forecast models using historical data and trends.
• Lead or participate in S&OP meetings to review forecast accuracy and bias.
• Translate forecasts into raw material requirements with procurement partners.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, adjust schedules, and communicate delays to stakeholders.
• Maintain production records and generate status reports for management.
