Job summary

Brandywine Communications is seeking an Operations Planner in Santa Ana, CA to translate customer demand and engineering requirements into executable production forecasts. You will collaborate with multiple departments—Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service—to balance demand with manufacturing capacity and drive on-time delivery.

You will maintain planning data in ERP/MRP, monitor schedules, and identify risks while supporting continuous improvement of planning

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in production planning, manufacturing scheduling, operations planning, or related manufacturing functions.
Comprehensive knowledge of production planning, manufacturing operations, capacity planning, inventory management, and MRP.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production forecast based on demand, backlog, and engineering requirements.
Collaborate with Production Control Manager to align schedules with demand, inventory, and capacity.
Analyze capacity and demand to determine achievable timelines and priorities.
Monitor schedules and adjust plans in response to changing requirements or material availability.
Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems.
Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure material availability for production plans.
Provide visibility to leadership on material risks affecting schedules.
Support short-term and long-term planning initiatives.
