Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an analytical and results-driven Demand Planner to support demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and S&OP across the organization. This role focuses on improving forecast accuracy, identifying demand trends, and translating data into actionable business insights.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, supply chain planning experience, and the ability to collaborate across Sales, Merchandising, Finance, and Inventory to drive customer service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field required or preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or analytics.
• Experience with S&OP, forecasting, and inventory management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts using statistical models, historical trends, and business insights.
• Support the execution and continuous improvement of the enterprise S&OP process across business segments.
• Establish repeatable demand planning processes, reporting tools, and forecasting methodologies.
• Identify forecast discrepancies, demand fluctuations, risks, and opportunities, and recommend solutions to improve planning accuracy.
