Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an ISS Deltek Practice Director to lead client engagements, oversee staff from Associates to Senior Managers, and implement Deltek Costpoint for government contracting and nonprofit clients.

You will manage cross-functional teams, drive business development, ensure compliant accounting processes, and advance the Deltek practice within a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience in accounting and ERP projects.
• Familiarly with ERP and technology implementation best practices.
• Experience with government contracting, nonprofit, and regulated industries preferred.
• History of managing people, projects, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Architects & leads implementations for Deltek Costpoint and other core offerings
• Manages various technology integrations through project management, and when required, with specific Deltek knowledge
• Using the BDO framework, assumes responsibility for projects’ phases and works directly with clients to accomplish project objectives
• Project management of implementation engagement(s), independently and collaboratively, for core Deltek offerings
• Interprets corporate & entity-level (Federal, non-profit, etc.) compliance as it relates to Deltek & other technology
• Reviews and develops policies and procedures related to accounting, contracts, and pricing for the client initiatives to secure new business, including but not limited to participating in Business Development meetings, developing relationships with clients and networking activities
• Demonstrates initiative to grow the practice through client expansion and process improvement(s)
