Job summary

Staffing Resource Group, Inc is seeking a Financial Analyst to own the numbers behind mission-critical federal programs in an on-site Orlando setting. The role oversees the lifecycle of project setup, billing and compliance within Deltek Costpoint, partnering with Operations and Project Management to ensure accurate labor and revenue recognition.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in government contracting finance, strong Excel skills, and hands-on Costpoint experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in project billing, contract administration, or project accounting within the Government Contracting sector.
• Proficient with Deltek Costpoint (Billing and Project modules).
• Understanding of CPFF, T&M, and FFP contracts.
• Experience navigating WAWF/PIEE government invoicing portals.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, Sumifs).

Responsibilities

• Maintains financial records & ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Execute and oversee end-to-end billing setup, project creation, and maintenance within Deltek Costpoint.
• Review and input contract modifications in Costpoint, adjusting funding ceilings and contract types.
• Build out Project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Assign appropriate project and task codes to employee timesheets for accurate labor capture.
• Collaborate with Operations, Project Managers, and Contracts teams to resolve billing variances and funding issues.
• Assist Finance with data for ICS and indirect rate applications.
• Generate and submit complex government invoices through WAWF/PIEE per FAR/DFARS/DCAA guidelines.
