Senior Advisor, IT Security Program Manager

As well as planning and installing network security systems, we investigate vulnerabilities and incidents relating to firewalls and systems to provide a timely response to security alerts.

You will:

• Drive the development and execution of security initiatives and projects by working with feature teams and other roles within DDME to define, sequence, and estimate the duration of activities and determine schedules to meet project objectives.
• Plan and conduct security initiatives and projects, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of information, documentation, and issue resolution to all appropriate team members.
• Create and maintain security documentation. (Confluence, MS Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
• Communicate security initiatives, projects, and procedures to DDME leadership and members.

Essential Requirements

• Manages complex large-scale projects, typically in a single functional area.
• Interacts with internal customers (i.e., Product Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, etc.).
• Independently provides security expertise cross functional product teams.
• Assists with analysis of potential risk to information security and recommends solutions.
• Understands and articulates vulnerability assessment strategy, policy, standards, and procedures.

Desirable Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years with a Master’s degree, or a Ph.D. without the knowledge or equivalent experience.
