Job description

Senior Advisor Information Systems and Security Auditor

You’ll be responsible for creating and implementing an audit and risk control framework for internal IT systems, as well as monitoring integrity, risk exposure and potential weaknesses.

What you’ll achieve
You will:

• Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT control assessments
• Partner with stakeholders in presenting IT SOX requirements, assessment approach, scope and findings
• Preparatory assessment of significant systems identification, analysis and classification systems for appropriate SOX classification
• Evaluate complex information systems and controls including but not limited to applications, business control processes, change control management procedures, security, networks, and computer and data center operations
• Work on unusually complex and sensitive problems and provide state-of-the-art solutions that are highly creative

Essential Requirements

• Big 4 IT Audit background
• Strong IT controls and business acumen
• Strong technical skills around controls, process, accounting and IT
• Experience testing ITGC, Automated and Interface controls
• Strong understanding of the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and of IT Audit Standards
• Knowledge of the operation of network device databases and identity management systems
• Strong understanding of the relationship between the key financial systems and their impact on the financial statements
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Privacy Practices (GAPP) and NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)

Desirable Requirements

• Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) preferred but not essential
