IT Product Manager
To drive innovation in product development at Dell Technologies, we need forward-thinking people on our IT Product Management team. What you’ll achieve
As an IT Product Management Senior Advisor, you will be driving all aspects of IT Project, Program and Portfolio activity, including collaborating and coordinating across all IT and business segments. You will work with internal customers (i.e., Product Managers, Project Managers, and Business Advisors, etc.) to complete project/program on time and within budget.

You will:

  1. Be the go-to person for the product - Have ownership of the product and related processes throughout the product life cycle and be responsible for decision-making, due to having wider knowledge and deeper understanding of the customer needs, the product, and the stakeholders demands.
  2. Define Outcome-based and Stakeholder-centric product roadmaps that align to key opportunities and strategic partnerships and manage the product strategy and vision with minimal supervision, working closely with business owners and other key IT stakeholders.
  3. Work with users & product development leaders in engineering teams to ensure Stakeholder needs and requirements are represented.
  4. Work with cross-functional product managers at all levels to drive product strategy, serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor with extreme focus on customer experience and maintain feature backlog, prioritize features, define clear acceptance criteria & work with engineering teams to develop features for the customer and optimize the product.
  5. Demonstrate deep user empathy for customers advocate for the customer through excellent verbal and written communication – accordingly collaborate with stakeholders and engineers.
  6. Lead 360 degrees while aligning team members and stakeholders around shared set of objectives to drive the right product and customer experience and demonstrate key leadership competencies for driving change, including complex problem solving, identification and mitigation of risks, leveraging talent strengths, building consensus or decision alignment, and utilizing key relationships to accomplish assigned outcomes.

Essential Requirements
- Technical product management background with a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent.
- Understanding of Agile Scrum product development methodology with a history of building/delivering enterprise products.
- Strong and demonstrable external stakeholder communication skills, particularly in the areas of issue resolution and escalation management.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks/projects independently with a record of driving product capabilities to successful outcomes within a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity, with a passion for the challenges around organizing it.

Desirable Requirements

  • Proven experience working on a world-class product, ideally from inception to post-launch maturity.
  • Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager.
