Job Role : Cloud Orchestration / Microservices Developer / Architect
As a Cloud Orchestration / Microservices Developer, you will produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team in the PowerScale organization that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Cloud orchestration engineer/architect, you should be comfortable around back-end coding languages, microservices development frameworks, and third-party libraries.

What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs, and general business environment creating software solutions.
You will:

1. Design and lead the effort on automation, CI/CD processes, and tools to make our services simpler and more robust.
2. Mentor team members in design collaboration, code reviews, development tools, and processes.
3. Take part in the full software development life cycle including development, testing, continuous delivery, and support.
4. Be an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, testing, and delivery.

Essential Requirements

1. 13+ years of software development experience.
2. Back-end programming skills: Experience programming in Python. Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
3. Good experience working on AWS / Azure public cloud platform. Good exposure must on Linux-based environments.
4. Knowledge to deploy and run application software on virtual machines.
5. Experience on Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform & microservices architecture.
6. Understand virtual networks and general network management functions.

Desirable Requirements

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
2. Experience with Enterprise Storage, Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence).
