Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) to drive post-sale technical leadership and strategic growth with Startup and Emerging Enterprise customers. You will collaborate with sales, field engineers, and professional services to accelerate adoption of the Databricks platform and maximize customer value and ROI.

This hybrid role blends technical leadership with commercial outcomes. You will own account strategies, coordinate with product and engineering, and guide onboarding,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering data/AI technical projects.
• Programming experience in Python, SQL or Scala.
• Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
• Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems.
• Ability to attribute business value and outcomes to project deliverables.
• Technical program or project management experience with account ownership.
• Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
• Proven track record of overachievement against quota or targets.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Can travel up to 30% when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-technical-win account strategy and execution for strategic customers.
• Be the accountable technical leader across multiple use cases and teams.
• Coordinate onboarding, enablement, go-live, and healthy consumption of workloads.
• Serve as first contact for production/go-live questions across use cases.
• Escalate to subject matter experts when needed and leverage PS resources.
• Partner with Product and Engineering on new product innovations and upgrades.
• Develop execution plans spanning customer-facing technical work streams.
