Job summary

Sysco Memphis seeks a Delivery Operations Supervisor to manage daily delivery activities, safety, route planning and KPI performance. You will lead delivery staff, ensure regulatory compliance, control labor costs and coordinate with Sales and Safety to improve efficiency and customer service.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills, plus experience with delivery operations and regulatory requirements. This role is on-site with Sysco.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1-3 years related experience or training.
• Two/ Four year degree in Business Management or Supply Chain preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business information and regulations.
• Proficiency with office software and ability to learn Sysco systems.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily work and safety of Delivery supervisors, routing personnel and associates.
• Ensures adherence to SOPs, planned routes, and safe, efficient customer service.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (DOT/OSHA) and logs.
• Controls labor hours, travel, fuel and supplies within budget; schedules shifts.
• Oversees asset utilization and coordinates repairs with departments as needed.
• Monitors KPI and customer/service goals; identifies efficiency gains.
• Collaborates with Sales/Marketing to resolve delivery issues and meet customer needs.
