Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Canton, OH is seeking a friendly, hard-working Full-time Delivery Route Driver to join our team. The role runs 5am to 1pm, Monday through Friday, delivering products to client locations and ensuring proper loading and vehicle care.

You must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license (CDL not required), a good driving record, and be able to pass a DOT physical. Lift up to 50 pounds and communicate well with customers and AVI teammates.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with products needed to service locations.

• Discard unsold merchandise and maintain vehicle care.
• Communicate professionally with teammates and customers.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Full-time Delivery Route Driver at our Canton, OH branch. This position will work 5am - 1pm Monday - Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
