Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Full-time Delivery Route Driver at our Canton, OH location. This role runs 5am to 1pm, Monday through Friday, and involves loading, delivering, and stocking products at client sites. You will also ensure proper refrigeration and accurate paperwork handling.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL not required; clean driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and AVI team members.
• Must work well independently and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load the vehicle with products for service locations.
• Deliver products to client locations and vending attendants.
• Ensure refrigeration of cold foods in the truck.
• Collect paperwork from vending attendants.
• Return unsold and stale merchandise.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with customers.
• Care for the company vehicle and equipment.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Full-time Delivery Route Driver at our Canton, OH branch. This position will work 5am - 1pm Monday - Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
