Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Delivery Route Driver for our Canton, OH branch. This full-time role runs 5am–1pm, Monday through Friday, with competitive compensation and extensive growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include loading the vehicle, delivering to client locations, maintaining refrigeration, collecting paperwork, and ensuring vehicle upkeep. A clean driving record and DOT-physical readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record; CDL not required.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle with products for scheduled locations.
• Deliver products to client locations and vending attendants.
• Maintain proper refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck.
• Collect paperwork from vending attendants at client sites.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained between routes.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Full-time Delivery Route Driver at our Canton, OH branch. This position will work 5am - 1pm Monday - Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver's license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently
