Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Full-time Delivery Route Driver at our Canton, OH location. Typical shift runs 5am–1pm, Monday–Friday. You will load, transport, and deliver products to client locations, ensuring cold items stay refrigerated and paperwork is properly handled.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent organization and time management
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and AVI team members
• Ability to work independently and efficiently

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with products for service locations
• Drive to client locations and deliver products and food
• Ensure refrigeration of cold items in truck
• Deliver and collect paperwork from vending attendants
• Remove unsold or stale merchandise

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Full-time Delivery Route Driver at our Canton, OH branch. This position will work 5am - 1pm Monday - Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
