AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Delivery Route Driver in Asheboro, NC. You will ensure timely delivery of products to client locations and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and use time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load the vehicle with all product needed to service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport products and food.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck.
• Deliver products to vending attendants at client locations.
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations.
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise.
• Communicate positively with team members and customers.
• Care for the company vehicle and maintain its cleanliness.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Delivery Route Driver.

This is a full-time position in Asheboro, NC. The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently
