Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Asheboro, NC is seeking a friendly Service Route Driver to join our full-time team. You will load and drive a company vehicle to service client locations, deliver products, stock vending and machines, and maintain cleanliness and refrigeration.

Ideal candidate is 21+, able to lift 50 lbs, pass a DOT physical, and communicate well with customers. CDL not required; and we offer competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required) with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle is loaded with all products needed to service locations.
• Drive to transport products to client locations and deliver/unload as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
