Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Delivery Route Driver to join our team in the United States. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday with a 4:00 AM start, delivering products to client locations and ensuring proper loading and refrigeration of items.

The role requires a valid driver's license (CDL not required), the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, strong time-management and customer-service skills, and the ability to work independently while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with products needed to service locations.
• Drive and deliver products to client locations.
• Maintain refrigeration of all cold food products in truck.
• Deliver to vending attendants at client locations and collect paperwork.
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members
