Job summary

Sonaca North America seeks a Delivery Coordinator Supervisor to lead the Delivery Coordinator Team and ensure timely product delivery. You will communicate statuses and delivery plans, coordinate orders through manufacturing, and supervise the team to resolve production bottlenecks.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, planning, warehouse, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Background in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Interpretation of information furnished orally, written, and/or in diagram form.
• Time Management - well organized, prioritizes and follows through to end of projects.
• Works effectively independently and in a team environment.
• Capable of practical problem solving and decision making using analytical skills.
• Use of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
• Understanding of process flows, lead-times and lean principles in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to learn each product line’s capabilities and limitations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct internal and external customer orders through the manufacturing process.
• Respond to delivery or product inquiries with cross-functional teams.
• Track and update recovery plans for the facility.
• Maintain delivery schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate clear and timely statuses to customers.
• Hire, train, mentor, and schedule delivery coordinator personnel.
• Lead and attend meetings within and outside the company.
• Identify obstacles early and escalate when needed.
• Ensure stable workflow of orders and stock management with site teams.
• Collaborate with Master Schedulers, Materials Managers and Central Planning Manager.
• Work with scheduling to meet site capacity and limitations.
• Coordinate with CSR team to move jobs and push them through the facility.
• Update and distribute coverage files to other departments.
• Identify critical parts on the shop floor.
