Job summary

Sysco Minnesota, Inc. is seeking an Operations supervisor to oversee delivery activities. You will lead delivery staff, ensure compliance with government regulations, and maintain safety and efficiency within the delivery department.

The role requires coordinating with Sales and Marketing to address customer delivery issues, supervising staffing and schedules, and enforcing company policies and procedures to ensure safe, reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 2- or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Defensive driving certification; HazMat certification preferred; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of delivery associates and ensures SOP adherence.
• Maintains regulatory compliance with DOT, OSHA and related rules.
• Manages labor hours and supplies within budget; prepares work schedules.
• Coordinates deliveries with sales/marketing to resolve issues with customers.
• Maintains communication and engagement with associates; conducts regular meetings.
• Coordinates safety trainings with the Safety department and investigates incidents as needed.
• Executes staff selection, development, discipline, and performance reviews.
