Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee Delivery activities and staff, ensuring safety, route adherence, and regulatory compliance. The role involves directing delivery associates, scheduling, and monitoring performance to meet customer service goals.

Responsibilities include labor and supply management, collaboration with Sales and Marketing, plus ensuring safety programs and proper documentation are followed. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• :1-3 years related delivery supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agencies (i.e. DOT, OSHA).
• Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra work days and shifts as needed.
• Oversees proper selection/utilization of company assets in support of the Delivery department.
• Reviews delivery functions and productivity reporting.
• Communicates with Sales Management and Marketing Associates to resolve any customer or delivery issues.
• Visits customer locations and meets with customers to address issues and assess delivery difficulty.
• Maintains open communication with associates and manages morale.
• Coordinates with Safety department for training and safety inspections.
• Executes management functions of staff selection, development, discipline, performance reviews and/or terminations.
