Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Transportation Lead to organize daily deliveries and pickups, coordinating with delivery staff across geographic areas. You will help optimize routes, supervise team members, and ensure compliance with DOT, FDA, and Joint Commission regulations.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership and operational excellence. The position involves coordinating equipment delivery to homecare patients, maintaining logs, and participating in developmental tasks to build supervisory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least five years of related experience.
• Minimum of three years driving history.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and comply with DOT, FDA and Joint Commissions requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organize daily deliveries and pickups by geographic area and staff availability.
• Process additional deliveries as patient/referral requests come in.
• Respond to emergency delivery calls on a regular and on-call basis.
• Assign and coach staff to ensure timely departures.
• Ensure trucks and staff comply with regulatory requirements and logs.
