Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Transportation Lead to organize daily deliveries and pick-ups across geographic areas, coordinating with delivery staff and ensuring timely execution. The role involves supervising staff, handling on-call emergencies, and maintaining compliance with DOT, FDA, and Joint Commission standards.

The successful candidate will have strong problem solving, communication skills, and a track record in logistics or transportation.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least five years’ related experience is required.
• Minimum three years driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily deliveries and pickups by geography and staff availability.
• Responds to emergency delivery calls on a regular and on-call basis.
• Directs and coaches staff to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Ensures delivery trucks are loaded and dispatched within required timeframes.
• Maintains vehicle maintenance logs and safety compliance with regulations.
