Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver durable medical equipment to patients in their homes. The role includes loading/unloading equipment, assisting patients with basic device use, and maintaining delivery logs. A strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance is required.

You will drive in a healthcare setting, follow DOT standards, complete paperwork, and respond to urgent delivery needs. A driver training program and clean driving history are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year related experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.
• Successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver durable medical equipment to patients' homes.
• Instruct patients on basic use of equipment as needed.
• Load/unload equipment among delivery vehicles.
• Respond to emergency delivery calls during business hours and on-call.
• Complete daily paperwork and maintenance logs.
