Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in building automation, smart buildings, or engineering delivery.
• Strong technical knowledge of BAS/BMS, IoT, networking, or smart building tech.
• Leadership experience mentoring engineering teams in complex environments.
• Proven problem-solving ability to improve processes and scale solutions.
• Excellent communication to explain concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience creating documentation and operational playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Become the technical backbone of the engineering department for complex challenges.
• Build scalable engineering processes and playbooks to improve consistency.
• Create systems that enable faster, lower-risk delivery with higher quality.
• Lead technical escalations and diagnose critical issues.
• Develop workflows and documentation to improve execution and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor Engineering Team Leads and elevate technical capabilities across the org.
• Review project plans early to identify risks and mitigation paths.
• Partner with Product, Delivery, and SMEs to raise engineering standards.
• Drive automation and innovation in engineering workflows and integrations.
