Job summary

KODE Labs, inc. in Detroit, MI is seeking a Delivery Engineering Lead to become the technical backbone of our Delivery organization. You will support Engineering Team Leads, unblock blockers, review plans, and ensure projects are delivered with the right technical approach from the start.

You’ll create scalable processes, improve documentation, and turn difficult problems into repeatable solutions. The role also focuses on coaching engineers, planning readiness, and maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technical delivery or leading engineering teams.
• Strong technical understanding of building systems, integrations, IoT, or deployment workflows.
• Strong operational instincts to spot risk and simplify execution.
• Strong communication skills to explain trade-offs to PMs and clients.
• Strong leadership to coach team members and drive accountability.
• Strong documentation and process management to own engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Escalate engineering issues and unblock blockers quickly.
• Review project plans before they become risks.
• Create scalable engineering processes and playbooks.
• Train and develop engineers and ensure planning readiness.
• Drive faster delivery and automation for integrations.
• Promote accountability and ensure quality before client handoff.
• Grow engineering leads to be more effective.
