Job summary

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. seeks a skilled Local Delivery Driver for our branch operations team. You will safely operate company trucks, load/unload items, and deliver to customer sites, while maintaining DOT-compliant logs and safety standards.

The role requires a valid license, 1 year of verifiable driving, and the ability to use forklifts and warehouse tools. Growth opportunities exist within a global company and day-one benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old.
• Possesses a valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• Has a working knowledge of current Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Has a minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Placement as driver is contingent upon successful completion of DOT road test, pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, and background check.
• DMV record cannot reflect an excess of 2 moving violations and/or preventable accidents within the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver product to customer sites within designated time frames safely using the most efficient routes as possible.
• Maintain required logs and reports to comply with DOT and Company policies.
• Safely load and properly block, brace, and secure cargo.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently to transfer, load, unload product.
• Perform pre-check and post-check operations of Company vehicles and forklifts.
• Perform warehouse duties and assist front counter or branch as needed.
