Job summary

Daikin Comfort is seeking a Local Driver to safely operate company trucks for timely delivery to customers and branch locations. The role includes loading/unloading, basic warehouse tasks, and front counter support while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of commercial driving experience, a valid license, and familiarity with DOT regulations. Proficiency with MS Office and forklift operation is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience in the past 3 years.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment and clean DMV record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Ability to use MS Office including Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver product to customer sites within designated time frames safely.
• Maintain logs and reports to comply with DOT and company policies.
• Safely load, block and secure cargo for transport.
• Operate forklift safely to move products and load/unload vehicles.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and basic warehouse duties.
• Follow safety practices and assist in warehouse or front counter as needed.
