Job summary

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is hiring a Local Delivery Driver for the Chicago, IL branch. You will operate company trucks safely, load and unload products, and deliver to customer sites as required, using forklifts and other equipment when needed.

You will also support warehouse duties, assist at the front counter, and maintain DOT-compliant logs and records. A valid license and a clean driving record are required, with DOT and background checks standard.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid commercial driver’s license in state of employment.
• 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience in past 3 years.
• DOT road test, pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks for timely product delivery.
• Load, unload, and transfer products using forklifts and equipment.
• Perform warehouse duties and front counter/back-up as needed.
• Maintain logs and reports for DOT compliance and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Follow safety and housekeeping standards.
