Job summary

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a Local Delivery Driver for our Milwaukee, WI branch. The role focuses on safe operation of company trucks, timely delivery to customers, and assisting with warehouse and front counter duties.

Requirements include 3+ years of commercial driving, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and knowledge of DOT regulations. On-the-job training, day-one benefits for full-time hires, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment
• Has a working knowledge of DOT regulations
• 3+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience in past 3 years
• DOT road test, pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, and background check required

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver products to customer sites within designated time frames
• Maintain required logs and reports to comply with DOT and company policies
• Safely load and secure cargo with proper blocking/brace
• Operate forklift to move products as needed
• Perform pre- and post-checks on vehicles and forklifts
• Assist in warehouse or front counter duties as required
