Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. seeks a Local Delivery Driver for our branch operations. The role focuses on safe operation of company trucks, timely delivery, loading/unloading, forklift use, and warehouse support at the Hicksville, NY location.

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years driving experience, a valid license, and DOT compliance knowledge. Strong customer service and multi-tasking abilities are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• Must pass DOT road test, pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, and background check.
• DMV record: no more than 2 moving violations/absences in 3 years.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver products to customer sites within designated time frames safely.
• Maintain logs and reports to comply with DOT and company safety policies.
• Safely load, brace, and secure cargo.
• Operate forklift safely to transfer products.
• Perform warehouse duties and front counter backup as needed.
