Job summary

JASPER Engines and Transmissions in Greensboro, NC, is hiring a Delivery Driver to load, transport, and deliver parts using a 20-24’ box truck. Expect 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, no weekends, with one weekly overnight route. CDL not required, but you must obtain the necessary licensure and a DOT Medical Card.

• Experience driving a 20-24' box truck preferred but not required.
• Ability to read GPS directions and use mapping tools.

Job Overview

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

Schedule: 4 days per week. (Day off can vary) 10-hour shifts and hours may vary. No weekends. This branch does require an overnight route one time a week.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting rate $20.00/hour. Multiple performance reviews within your first two years, which include the ability to receive multiple wage increases.
